    1. died on Sunday in a hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill. He was 21.

it is so sad that he died at such a young age

    2. combined the melodic hip-hop instincts of Lil Yachty, Post Malone and XXXTentacion with the heavy-hearted angst and nasal hooks of emo and pop-punk bands like Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco.

this is a very interesting mix of music influences

    1. We think it’s about 50 meters downriver from its original location

It is crazy to think how far the boat moved from just one storm.

    2. The agency says the boat, an iron dumping scow, became stuck after an incident on August 6, 1918, where the barge broke loose from a tugboat.

I don't understand how a boat can get stuck for so long from such a small incident

    1. Nearly 90,000 people were evacuated Saturday as the fire jumped over highways and roads jammed with people trying to flee.

I can´t imagine how scary this must have been for the 90,000 people evacuating their home and leaving everything behind.

    2. Fed by sustained winds above 70 mph — category 1 hurricane level — and gusts that topped 100 mph, the fire almost doubled in size from Sunday afternoon to Sunday evening, reaching more than 54,000 acres, and containment had fallen to 5 percent

it is very scary to think of how easily wildfires can spread by just gusts of wind

    1. People who confine dogs for 24 hours must also allow them to move freely for the next two hours or face prosecution.

I think this is an efficient policy for dogs that are kept in cages all day, but not for the people who have jobs

    2. Dog owners could be fined up to $2,700 (AU$4,000) if they don't walk their pets at least once a day under new legislation

    1. Between 2017 and 2019 vaping jumped dramatically among high school students, doubling from 11% to 25% of 12th-graders,

It is horrible to think how many high school students are now addicted to nicotine and how terrible the effects will be on their lungs.

    2. U.S. health officials said there are now 530 confirmed or probable cases of lung injury associated with vaping, a jump from 380 cases reported last week. Eight people have died.

To me it is crazy to see how bad the effects of vaping are on the lungs and how fast it is spreading diseases.

    1. The U.S. government is establishing temporary tent courtrooms in Brownsville and Laredo, Texas, where immigration judges from around the U.S. will hear migrants’ cases by video.

I believe this movement is very important because now judges can actually hear the migrants' story.

    2. But pregnant women are not necessarily considered “vulnerable” by CBP, a subsidiary of the department.

In my opinion this statement is just so disappointing because of the way pregnant women are treated.

    3. Pregnant women face special hazards in Mexico because places where migrants wait to enter the U.S. often don’t have access to regular meals, clean water, and medical care.

I think the conditions pregnant women have to go through in Mexico are horrible all they want is deliver a healthy baby.
