      It's good to see him stating this because unneeded force should not be placed on a woman. If only every man knew this, then the world would be a better place.

      Even though there are many different viewpoints of philosophy, it seems to be clear to everyone that our world was many faults based off how people can be and how things in our lives are made to be.

      This quote is very insightful because with freedom comes independance. Freedom allows one to make their own decisions, which is a privilege that many do not have.

      Even though progress has been made to make 'We the people' more applicable to all, there is still a lot more to go to make it true for all citizens. If all can be included in what the Constitution garuntees to people, true justice and equality will come about, yet this will take time.

    2. But when the document was completed on the seventeenth of September 1787 I was not included in that “We, the people.”

      Although the Constitution appears to include all of its American citizens, this is not true. To me, it is not fully valid unless all people are 'created equal'. This will not happen until acceptance is made of the fact that more progress needs to be made to include every person in this.

    1. In short, traditional narratives are “legitimated by the simple fact that they do what they do.”

      A narrative becomes legitimized just by being the narrator. The information is transfered to the listener who then gains the knowledge. Meter and repetition, as well as following the culture's rules, allow it to acceptable.

    2. Preliminary question need to answer before discussing knowledge in highly developed society: what representational model of society are we using?

      Lyotard is basically stating that to understand the essence of knowledge in modern society we must also understand how our society works.
