    1. based on pre-observation and interview, it concluded that some teachers are seldom to use technology into English language learning, although most of them have positive perception about technology. It caused of the school supervisor of Kendari and policy makers less attention on the use of technology into English language learning. Supervisors only focused on curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments. They just informed that current learning should be technology-based, but implementation and training never happened

I think teachers don't really know much about technology. That is why most shy away fro using it. If more teachers knew how to function computers and were more acquainted with them, then I feel like they would use technology more than they do. That is why I think it is smart to give classes on integrating technology in class because it opens your eyes on how much the internet can help with teaching.

    1. As entire industries adjust, most occupations are undergoing a fundamental transformation. While some jobs are threatened by redundancy and others grow rapidly,

I feel as though if the work place is adapting, then our education should adapt according to our job type. Our curriculum should correspond to the requirements of the job we are pursuing. It will be hard to do, but technology gives us more assistance to get better and more efficient in our studies and work, So I think it should be integrated more.

    1. "I would like to see both men and women be held to the same standards of intellectual ability and providing a challenge, but also mentoring and support,

I definitely agree with this statement. I feel as though it shouldn't matter the gender. As a teacher you should have charismatic qualities, and you should have intelligence. Gender should not dictate how you see and individual, in my opinion. A woman can do everything a man can do.

    1. On the one hand, in the end I believe in the humanness of what I want to achieve when I teach in terms of the relationships I have with the students. Holding people accountable, encouraging and being responsive to questions. I felt I was in broadcast mode and I could never get over the sense of being a radio DJ...

I agree with Mitch, in a lesson online your point might not get across all the way. Some students experiences in the classroom can help them learn better.

    2. “Social" aspects of course, including appropriate and effective discussions and communication

In my opinion, The social aspect of the course if it is online is not as effective . I feel as though teaching in a classroom can have a better impact on your attentiveness, and involvement in the class. Also, the way the teacher engages and involves the student F2F may be a way some student prefer to learn. Some teachers prefer this as well. Online teaching definitely has it's benefits though. The student can take their time and go through the lessons at their own pace. This is effective and takes some stress off of the student and the teacher. Both teachings have their benefits.

    1. Work in quiet areas to reduce distractions, avoiding areas with conversation, music, and television.

I got a 9 for an auditory learner, 4 for visual, and 1 for kinesthetic. I figured I would be a visual learner because i know i love silence when I am working on assignments. I repeat everything in my head 6 times before it sticks. I noticed that I could be doing more to enhance my learning and, understanding of things. I think I should start reading things aloud.

    1. He had told me where we were going, and I had to figure out the highways to take and also the mileage. He didn’t do anything but drive and turn where I told him to, Was that fun. I sat with a map in my lap, and told him to turn south, or southeast, or some other direction. We made seven stops, and drove over 500 miles round trip. I’m figuring now what his oil cost, and also the wear and tear on the truck–he calls it depreciation–so we’ll know how much we made.

This shows that you can learn without going to school. He missed school, but learned more than he did when he was in school. His uncle had him engaged in the road trip the whole time giving him directions, figuring out how much they made from the trip. So he learned about many different subjects because he was put in the right situation; where he was able to learn.

    2. No, I’m not very good in school. This is my second year in the seventh grade, and I’m bigger and taller than the other kids. They like me all right, though, even if I don’t say much in the classroom, because outside I can tell them how to do a lot of things. They tag me around and that sort of makes up for what goes on in school.

This definitely relates to today's situation in American education. He has many different interests and talents, but none of them are being put to use because of the curriculum of schools. The subjects in school relate to his situation at home in some cases. But the teachers only have one way to teach the students, and that's why students' who can't learn that way become bored, and lose desire to learn.
