Very valid points in on the darker side of technology in feeding what you want to hear instead of what you need to hear. How do we get exposed to people and ideas we disagree with, that we need to deal with in our physical lives? Its easy to escape on the internet, but much more difficult on the job and in public sphere.

A couple quotes I found interesting were: "why should I be hated for who I cannot help but be" and "consequences of our tribalism become more dangerous" Its easy to hide behind the internet anonymously, but facing people in person, having courageous conversations is far more challenging.

Today at my elementary school, 1st grade students interacted with the counselor who utilized a book about good and bad choices. Scenarios were laid out and students got to make a choice then they were directed to a different part of the books to explore the results of their choice either good or bad with a focus on how good and bad choices exhibit themselves. While this is not exactly the same there is an interesting parallel to the lesson I observed today and what is happening with Twine.
