      I believe it would have to a certain extent but they would have probably faced many dilemmas in achieving proper representation.

      these native tribes were caught in the crossfire of the civil war. they most likely did not want to get involved but were afraid of losing their lands. the confederacy must've seemed like the logical choice since Oklahoma was surrounded by confederate territory.

      Many of the actions of the Native people helped contribute to an American victory in the revolution. they also helped settlers survive the harsh winters by providing food and also acted as guides many times. This helped with western expansion of the continent and saved settlers the trouble of exploring many of these lands

      it must have been so disheartening for them to lose all those lives and then not receive any compensation. the men who died, died believing that their sacrifice would benefit their families
