Actively participating in leadership and supportive roles in the world of OT, no matter the level, is the way that we makes changes for the better in the profession of OT. When participating in these roles, we can advocate for OT and make our voice heard. Although I do not currently hold any leadership roles in these associations, I am currently a member of AOTA and TNOTA and maintaining these memberships in something that I plan on doing as I step foot into the world of OT as a licensed practitioner.
