    1. Uses knowledge and information in an innovative way.

      Please provide one additional example of how you used knowledge and information in an innovative way during FW.

    1. Maintaining professional behavior is something that I pride myself on, and I feel that I did a good job throughout my Level II rotations making sure that I stayed professional throughout any circumstance.

      How do you plan to continue with this as you move forward as in independent practitioner?

    1. we need to improve.  Being able to give feedback is just as important as being able to receive it when it comes to growing

      Have you had to provide any constructive criticism/feedback during your time as a student? Please share one or two examples and how it went.

    1. Actively participating in leadership and supportive roles in the world of OT, no matter the level, is the way that we makes changes for the better in the profession of OT.  When participating in these roles, we can advocate for OT and make our voice heard.  Although I do not currently hold any leadership roles in these associations, I am currently a member of AOTA and TNOTA and maintaining these memberships in something that I plan on doing as I step foot into the world of OT as a licensed practitioner. 

      Are there any additional ways that you would like to serve as a leader in the future? Please share.

    1. taying up to date on the latest practice is something that I look forward to.      

      Specifically, how do you plan to continue with your commitment to life-long learning after graduation?

    1. providing that experience to other students who are in my shoes is something that I look forward to. 

      Please say more and/or provide artifacts? What do you plan to do in the future besides mentoring? Research, present, etc.

    1.  It is important to know how to be adaptable to whatever setting and to whatever type of client you are treating so that you can provide the best services possible.

    1. It is important for us to advocate for our clients because sometimes, especially in a pediatric setting, our patients are unable to advocate for themselves.  It is our responsibility to do everything in our power to make sure that they get the best care possible, no matter the circumstance. 

      How did you react when you first learned that you couldn't get her into an inpatient facility? Were you frustrated?

    1. One day, I even got on the bus with her and we rode the route that she would be taking every day to get to and from work.

      What a great way to put yourself in the client's shoes.

    1. meaningful, restful, and client-centered occupations at the close of her life

      This is very client-centered. I am impressed with your clinical reasoning skills!

    1. if I took the time to sit with them and hear about their day and explain the value of OT, they often participated more in the session had I not taken these steps. While this may seem detrimental to my productivity standards, I found it to be a necessary step of the therapeutic relationship in order to increase client care and participation.

      This makes me smile.

    1. This was a great leadership opportunity I was provided with to serve as a role model in practice, educating students and providing them with feedback.

    2. I have also utilized the AOTA Code of Ethics as a resource in order to model honesty, integrity, and morally ground decision making. 

      I'm so pleased to hear this. I know it isn't easy when faced with these situations.

    1. I was able to attend the conference meeting, as well as conference calls to gain understanding of what is going on with the organization and to become more involved.

      Great! How did it feel to get involved in this way?

    1. ccupational therapists, can have a role in developing relationships with those who are neglected in the community, while also working together to dismiss some of the issues going on in our nation today.

      It is so important to be aware of the areas that we need to work on! It's the only way to grow.

    1. . Her participation in OT sessions increased drastically and she demonstrated improvements in ADLs and fine motor tasks.

      How did this feel? Provide more reflection and why it was important to use humor as a strategy.

    1. I was able to manage my time for personal leisure and social participation by meeting new people, experiencing new adventures these new places had to offer me, and maintaining my relationships back home with family and friends.

      These are good examples of theoretical approaches utilized. Can you share more about how you were able to function autonomously? Did you do extra research/reading? Consult with your supervisor?
