      These types of pieces of literature are truly important because as minds adapt and grow they change. Having someone who is reletivly at the same stage of development as you makes it more engaging and interesting.

      Its interesting that they start by using very broad defenitions that are very commonly accuanted with American Literature.

      This is the first time we learn that she loved the people as well. In the beggining of the story we knew she was in love with the enviroment and how pretty it was, but she never said she wanted to be there for the people, so why did they mention it at the end of the sotry? Is there a deeper hidden meaning to reveal this fact at the end, or did she realize it as she found the flaws in nature?

      Why did this specific interaction with seeing the male who told his people about her touch a flower change her mind?

      She is basically diminishing their way of life bcause they use those buffalo to survive, for her to be like "no gentle maiden could live here" makes it seem like a terrible place.

      If it was a male would the reaction have been different? Also why use a beautiful maiden to describe a star?

      Why would they only look after the interests of the good spirits? Isn't it more dangerous to ignore the bad ones and only look after the good ones?

      This is definitly teaching a lesson about talking about others. When "men" are talking in places that are easy to hide in like the forest they can be used against themselves. Also, why did they specifically only talk about men, and no women?
