The wisdom of attachment science can be summarised in a few basic ideas, the most fundamental of which is that we are wired for close connection with others and this connection is vital to our survival.
The bases of this idea is in every love article cause it is your make it. But this mainly reminds me of the article that talks all about the science of love.
So, it makes sense that rejection is coded in the same part of the brain and in the same way as physical pain. Stepping on a nail and suddenly feeling rejected are both danger cues.
This relates to different aspects of my life when I got rejected and had no where left to go but forward.
Johnson would answer "what is love?" by saying Love is very complicated and is hard to understand, but the bottom line is we need love in our lives because it is in our nature and is literally ingrained in your brain the emotion and pain that you feel when you love someone.
Johnson has a different assertions the other texts just by having a in depth perspective of being a relationship therapist and all the different couples that came in that she inspected and learned from to help her text grow
Johnson's assertions are aligned with most of the texts that love is natural science and is interpreted in many different ways whether it be emotional love, or sexual love. Though her text does complicate the fact that most of the "greatest" love stories are hogwash and are not even "love stories" where other authors will take inspiration from the love stories.
