I think the way they wrote constant companions was interesting because it shows how we've always had something to rely on to keep us busy.

Also, text to self. I related to this line because, growing up, like many others, I was around and on social media a lot. On all kinds of platforms, whether it was being posted, watching things people had posted, or just being familiar with the platforms themselves.
