It is based on TypeScript.Angular is a complete rewrite from the same team that had built AngularJS. It can be used as the frontend of the MEAN stack, which consists of the MongoDB database, Express.js web application server framework, Angular itself (or AngularJS), and the Node.js server runtime environment.
