The Named Entity task consists of three subtasks: entity names, temporal expressions, and number expressions. Theexpressions to be annotated are “unique identifiers” of entities (persons, locations, organizations), times (dates,times, and durations), and quantities (money, measures, percents, and cardinal numbers).
