An attack on Monday at Ohio State University was being investigated as a possible act of terrorism after a student, an 18-year-old Somali refugee, injured eleven people, first with a car and then with a butcher's knife. The suspect "intentionally" drove drove over a curb, striking multiple pedestrians, before emerging with a knife and stabbing several people. 

He was a Somali refugee who left his homeland with his family in 2007, lived in Pakistan and then came to the United States in 2014 as a legal permanent resident of the United States, officials said.

Somali-born Artan was living in the US as a legal permanent resident, unnamed officials told AP news agency.
