    1. iCloud Sync is not working. Make sure you have signed into iCloud with the same account on all devices. On iOS, go to Settings → [your name (the very top item)] → iCloud → iCloud Drive. On macOS, go to System Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Drive. Make sure iCloud Drive is on. On iOS, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → (Tap the “Show All” button to go to “Apps using iCloud”) → (Scroll down to find Anybox). On macOS, go to System Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Show More Apps…. Make sure Anybox is on. If the switch for iCloud Drive or Anybox is disabled, it means your device is managed by organization and iCloud is not allowed.

    1. fuzzydunlopsawit · 3 mo. agoiCloud has many many issues within obsidian. On the phone it was unusable. Switched to Sync and other than onboarding and me not reading what I was told to read (😅) - it’s been a great addition. Sync is really great. Plus I like supporting the devs.

      alas, I really commiserate with this community of unhappy Obsidian iCloud users. I am currently stuck with it for the Nth time.

    1. I ended up turning Documents and & Desktop sync off. I got frustrated with it because my data was constantly being uploaded and downloaded, wasting my bandwidth. But recently I found a tool on Github called iCloud Control. It adds a menu button to Finder that lets you remove local items, download items, and publish a public link to share your files.
