Making Labour Market Information Accessible Having access to accurate and timely labour market information (LMI) is integral for students, career counsellors and job seekers to help them make career and education decisions. The government launched a new LMI website in 2017 that provides new data about the current demand for jobs, and more regional information about job vacancies. Beginning in spring 2018, Ontarians will have access to real time, local labour market information through the government’s refreshed LMI website. This will help students, job seekers and ‎employers make better decisions about their workforce and career goals using current and localized information.
