      This quote makes me think of dogmatism, and how people might still strongly defend their beliefs, even if they are ignorant of some of the details or facts surrounding them.

      I agree with what Glaucon says after this quote. "...they agree that the same things are [both] good and bad...". Too much pleasure can be a bad thing, depending on how you define pleasure.

      This quote reminds me of the saying that how we see or interpret things is in the eye of the beholder. It also reminds me of class on Friday when we talked about relativism and how truth is different for different people.
