I like the idea because this is how I organize in my day to day

I didn't know about this. Teachers have always discouraged us even clicking on Wiki

I have fond that while researching topics I tend to ask a question that will lead me to find the answer to only one side of the topic

    1. The introduction does not need a “hook,” but rather, is an invitation to your audience to step into the world you are sharing with them and the experience that lies ahead

I never thought of an introduction in that way and this description of it makes so much since and will be keeping this in mind while writing

    1. please refrain from sharing with your audience all that you have said before.

The audience has already read your paper so instead of repeated your points try and tie it all together and make a greater contention in your conclusion

A counter argument is always good to include and I have definitely found myself switching my opinion after further research of an opposing idea of the one I started with

    1. If you do not have a lot of time to revise, you can use this hierarchy to address the top concerns and move through middle and lower ones.

I like the idea of revising based on the hierarchy

    1. Based on your reverse outline, create a list, explaining the work you will do to revise, and discussing what you will do to make these changes based on what you collected in your reverse outline and need to accomplish in the assignment.(required)

I will work on having strong topic sentences and not just summarizing what I written in my conclusion

    2. Whatever you remove or add, whatever feedback you consider, you will be seeing you writing with new eyes, which allows you to express yourself more fully and clearly to your audience, in ways that you could not imagine

After peer reviews and feedback, I can say I definitly looked at my paper with "fresh eyes"

    3. read through your notes, review your annotations about texts, examine the assignment by underlining, and make note of the task and expectations of the assignment; this allows you to understand the purpose for your writing.

This is why it is so important to take good notes and annotate. Something I have to remind myself still

    4. Keep in mind, whatever discipline your major is in or the profession you choose, you will need to write, well

    1. In at least 100 words, share one helpful and one not helpful experience you have experienced with peer feedback? What would have changed the not helpful experience into a helpful one?

I can't remember a specific experience but I do remember getting great feedback from my peers that was actually very helpful. It would help to have a pair of "fresh eyes" on my paper to catch any spelling or grammar errors I may have missed. Also having someone else read my thoughts and making comments would help me understand what it is that my paper is saying to the reader. I have definitely had negative experiences where during peer review the person wouldn't give feedback and wouldn't correct anything. so that wasn't very helpful

    1. Read your thesis statement and the body of your paper for this assignment and based on what you have written, write out some ideas about what you might include in your introduction and conclusion in consideration of the assignment and you audience.

Something I am learning to implement while writing for my introduction and conclusions is the TEA method. I could also improve on my conclusions by not summarizing what I have just written

    1. In at least 100 words, please explain the process you go through when you write a paper. What steps do you take to move from beginning, middle, and end of a writing assignment?

The process I go through when I write a paper is I begin with brain storming what I want the main idea to be and what I want to talk about in my paper. I then usually just jump straight into my first paragraph, writing my thesis and/or main idea really helps me to determine the structure of my paper from there. Throughout writing my paper I try to make sure I am connecting what I am writing to the main topic and making sure everything flows. I re-read my work as I go along. In my conclusion, I re-read my whole essay and summarize the main points and the take away from my paper.

I also do this for annotating. It proves to be super helpful when looking back on notes an finding things quickly

    3. When you are more active in your own reading process, you not only comprehend and retain the information better — reading becomes dynamic and interactive

    1. Skimming and Scanning are other pre-reading processes (not to be confused with the entire reading process),

I tend to skim and/or scan text but need to remember that it is not the entire reading process but only a "pre-reading" step
