The aim is to develop a 'pick and mix' learning design toolbox of different resources and tools to help designers/teachers make informed decisions about creating new or adapting existing learning activities.       Lessig makes a very important point by stressing that as soon as internet made content accessible, it would be impossible to kill the natural instict of creativity that pushes individuals remix or build on something which already exists. It is hypocritical to condemn a tendency for which we praise and reward our children.

    2. We typed words and paragraphs on paper. We had to use white out to make corrections on things we typed.  In order to “cut and paste,” we would literally cut sections of paper, a paragraph at a time, and then paste them with glue or tape in different order. We would go to libraries to find and read information.

      This article provides a very informative debate between academic and digital libraries. Robinson (2008) advocates that digital libraries are considered as a "powerful, convenient, easily accessible alternative" (p.10) for searcching content. Thus, digitized content is a revolutionary tool which helps learners find more relevant and personalized information.
