    1. I do not think these suffer against their wills

I observe in this quote that the accusers claims are not the truth, and that she their suffers could possibly be fake and it’s all an act. My interpretation for this quote is that she tries to show the court or at least hint to them that the fears of the crowd are nothing but lies, she is not a witch and the accusations are false. This truly shows her courage to go against people for what she believes is true

    2. No, I have none but with God alone.

My observation here is that Rebecca nurse is saying she has no connection to any witchcraft or evil spirits as she is innocent. She is saying that the only spiritual bond she has is with god and god only. My interpretation of this is that she wants the court to see that a faithful and loyal to god woman like her could never commit witchcraft, which is a major sin in any abrahamic religion. By saying this statement she shows that she is a Christian woman, not a witch

    3. I am as clear as the child unborn

I observe here that Rebecca nurse compares herself to an unborn child. This is a declaration of innocence as an unborn child is always innocent. This is extremely deep because although she is losing this case and people believe that she is tainted with the accusation of sin she still tries to declare her innocence and show that she has clearly done nothing wrong. She wants everyone to know she’s done nothing wrong
