This is the author of the book "I, Robot". Asimov's 3 rules of Robotics are also featured in that book. His novel was adapted into a movie with the same title starring Will Smith.

These junk heaps are only geared to one speed
These guys are really unappreciative of being able to ride robot horses on another planet. I mean that sounds pretty sick to me. However, I guess that it makes sense because most people take for granted older devices when the new ones are released.

One, a robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."
I recently watched Alien Romulus. Very good very scary movie. Highly recommend. Anyway there were androids in that movie and one of the parts of dialogue was like one of the characters blamed an android for the death of their parents. And the other character was like how's that possibly Androids are programed to not be able to kill people. And then it was revealed that the the characters parents died because an android sealed of a collapsing mine which in turn killed a few people (including the one characters parents) yet saved the life of many others. That kind of reminded me of this rule. But also how would that scenario play out with these "Rules of Robotics".

There will be no poverty. All work will be done by living machines. Everybody will be free from worry and liberated from the degradation of labor. Everybody will live only to perfect himself.
This reminds me a lot of the human society in the movie WALL-E. This version of society sounds nice because who doesn't want to have the worries and hardships that come with work. However, that did not really work too well for humanity in the movie because everyone in society was not really their perfect selves they were just like adult versions of iPad kids.

That the cost of everything will be a tenth of what it is today. Why, in five years we’ll be up to our ears in corn and—everything else.
I bet that if in our world if someone of power claimed that "The cost of everything would be a tenth of what its is today" if we created more intelligent Ai. Society would be a lot more for Ai rather than fearful of it especially nowadays with inflation so high. I wonder in the coming years if we will ever see a president run on being pro Ai development or something like that.
