I believe that reddit should compensate them because they are basically offering a service to reddit for free. However, if users are doing it our of the kindess of thier heart to keep thier beloved subreddits clean then that may be different.

Governments might also have rules about content moderation and censorship, such as laws in the US against CSAM. China additionally censors various news stories in their country, like stories about protests. In addition to banning news on their platforms, in late 2022 China took advantage of Elon Musk having fired almost all Twitter content moderators to hide news of protests by flooding Twitter with spam and porn [n10].
It's a weird way to deal with the issue but I guess if it works it works.

I didn't know my own negative thoughts count as self harm, I thought only physical harm counted

As much as i dislike the song, it does bring me nostalgia. I'm surpised and sad to see that Rebecca got bullied for it. I though people liked the song.

I hated this song so much. I remember it was all my friends and siblings would sing and replay over and over. It got to the point were I just didn't find it funny or enjoyable.

I find this loop hole funny. By interacting with accounts you don't like you will see more of them. I also find it interesting that there is no solutions being made to resolve this. Although I think the solution would be for the algorithim to scan what you post which would be weird.

I like how reddit reccomends posts for mee based on the topics and communities I follow as well was what posts within those communities are trending.

10.2.5. Are things getting better?# We could look at inventions of new accessible technologies and think the world is getting better for disabled people. But in reality, it is much more complicated. Some new technologies make improvements for some people with some disabilities, but other new technologies are continually being made in ways that are not accessible. And, in general, cultures shift in many ways all the time, making things better or worse for different disabled people.
I personally think this are getting better. New technologies and settings are being created for people with disabilities to use online services. People with disabilities are also just being considered more today when company's invent a new app or game. For example text to speech or video games that offer color blind settings.

I think its both weird and scary how these large data collection tools work. So youre telling me that by not leaving personal data you are more suspectable to identity leakage?
The easiest one to do this with is Google. Go to your google account (assuming you have one) profile information and go to “Data & Privacy” (this link might take you there). Then select the “Ad Settings” Ad personalization option (this link might take you there)

Ignore. Trolls usually recive what they are after from reactions. If you simply ignore them the trolls don't get what they want.

I love this skit, it remids me of how I greet some of my friends compared to others. Same with my transition to college. I am very different with all the people I meet here than I am with my friends back home.
How do you notice yourself changing how you express yourself in different situations, particularly on social media?
Definetely. I am way more out going and social online than I am in person. Even when im with friends, ill be completely different when we're talking online than when I talk to them in person. I'm not entirely sure which one is more authentic to me though. I feel like both are pretty true to my character.

Honestly watching this makes me a bit mad. As a Star Wars fan I was immensely dissapointed in The Last Jedi. Especially towards the start of the video where they are all claiming that the movie was in good hands when it resulted being incredibly wrong. However, he is still human after all and didn't deserve all that hate. The movie is definetely the worst Star Wars movie out of the 9 but it still has some pretty great visuals.
In 2016, Microsft launched a Twitter bot that was intended to learn to speak from other Twitter users and have conversations. Twitter users quickly started tweeting racist comments at Tay, which Tay learned from and started tweeting out within one day.
The fact that I am not surprised by this says a lot about humanities use for social media. It reminds me of the point that was made in one of the previous lectures where there was a huge problem with unregulated media being created and people without filter using it for harm.

While yes personal development can progress greatly when you focus deeply on ourselves, its not the best way to do it. We learn a lot from other people and thier experiences and mistakes sometimes even more than our own. Not only that but I firmly believe that the greatest feats of engineering come from multiple people working together. Engineers together are stronger than a lone one.

They knew what they did and they knew it was wrong. The development in tech today are inclined towards making money and incresing the amount of consumers. They don't care about the effects and consequenses they cause, just as long as they get thier check.
