      This suggests the need for an “economic ecology” capable of appealing to a broader vision of reality. The protection of the environment is in fact “an integral part of the development process and cannot be considered in isolation from it”

      To me it seems like the only way that things really get done in this country and world in general is if theres a financial incentive. I don't understand how theres not more financial incentives in regards to the environment as it may not have much of an impact now, but in the future and as little as 30 years, theres a huge financial impact.

      This is a very important idea in where I'm from, where non-natural species infiltrate an area and take over, which has a large effect on all species in the ecosystem
