After all, regardless of how we label social good initiatives (i.e. CSR, CC, HSR, Social Impact, Responsible Business) I’m a firm believer in putting the community at the forefront.
So changing the name from CSR to HSR it's just about the label to these good initiatives promoted by the companies? Of course giving back to the community is important, but isn't this something they already do?

HSR is about knowing what both the employees and your community care about, including their voice in who and how you serve, and then empowering them to do so while partnering with the community

As Hutchisson shares, it ignores the fact that people bring their “whole selves” to work, and in doing so they bring “life to the vision and purpose” of the workplace. I couldn’t agree more. We’re incredibly unique and come from all walks of life. And in this age, we’re seeing job candidates more purposefully seeking employment with companies that align with their moral code and values as individuals.
Sum: The term in itself may be indeed not the best to describe what corporate social responsibility actually accounts for, and thus a change to human social responsibility would be better placed because of what CSR actually encompasses.

HSR helps to include a good part of people in decision making, instead of only including the most privileged that find themselves on the top of corporate hierarchy.

I would even argue that it could possibly be silently sabotaging a company’s social good initiatives as a result.
I agree with that. Indeed, many companies decide to do good actions not for the impact that they will have on solving a global issue, but because of the good press they will receive by "being socially responsible and helping society." The reputation they create for such actions is, in turn, good for business.

Basically, make the general population the ones that discuss about a problem and try to come up with solutions for such problems.

This is the woman from the TED Talk we saw. So, by changing the idea of corporate social responsibility to human social responsibility we: 1. Make the people socially responsible for their actions (or non actions) by removing the face of the company from their front 2. People who are not (necessarily) in positions of power will have more opportunity to have their voices listened to.

regarding the private sector response to COVID-19, perhaps this is the catalyst that’ll shift the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) to human social responsibility (HSR)
This pandemic has indeed promoted a great number of changes in our society; I also believe that it could be a catalyst to shifting our attention to an idea of human social responsibility. I think that the use of masks, especially, is one of the ways in which this concept of human social responsibility has been talked about the most (specially at the beginning of the pandemic).
