      In the near future it will become almost impossible to determine if a student wrote the paper on their own or if is written by AI. Perhaps in the future students will be required to write papers in class and have class time to share with their peers to revise and edit the paper.

    1. Just as speakers transmit emotion through voice, writers can transmit a range of attitudes through writing, from excited and humorous to somber and critical. These emotions create connections among the audience, the author, and the subject, ultimately building a relationship between the audience and the text.

      Reading these few sentences shows just how skillful writers have to be. When I read this I think about movies and how actors/actresses can convey tone through their actual voice, but writers have to do it in the way they write and choose their words carefully to convey the tone. Looking back at books that have become movies it is very impressive that most of the time everyone says the book is always better. It just goes to show you how skilled writers really are.

    2. If you want to brag about a good grade, you may write the post to please family members. If you want to describe a funny moment, you may write with your friends’ senses of humor in mind. Even at work, you send e-mails with an awareness of an unintended receiver who could intercept the message.

      I have never thought of my writing in this way since it is done subconsciously and without any extra thought. But after reading this sentence and reflecting on conversations with friends and family I can see where I do this all time.
