      I find it very interesting to see how others think about certain things. Often times I have a similar perspective as many of my peers but also very different from others.

      This is also how ive been going about the text, I like to read other perspectives and compare my own to get a general idea what the consenses of the passage is.

      I find skimming to be very important as sort of an in depth introduction of the entire reading. When skimming, I tend to look at headers and smaller passages first. Skimming can also be a great tool when searching for specific information or a source for a research paper. It saves lots of time but doesnt give very much info.

      This was very common in my past English classes and though I found it simple and easy, may of my peers found it very difficult to put thoughts onto paper. For this reason I believe for some people, annotation may not help as much with comprehension as a simple conversation about the text with the teacher might.

      I have found throughout my school career I get the most out of annotating when it it an idividual undertaking but I am curious how this new perspective might show me new ideas and ways to look at a writing
