    1. Government to be treated as all other men are treated

      I am confused ? Is this article about the Government not being treated fairly or is it about the society not receiving the promises that the Government had made to them.

    2. Too 15many misrepresentations have been made, too many misunderstandings have come up between the white men about the Indians. If the white man wants to live in peace with the Indian he can live in peace

      I am confused about the point that the author is trying to make when saying this

      The author repeated the statement "good words" because he wanted to emphasize that words don't mean anything if there is no action being done to change the situation.

    4. Government has something wrong about it. I can not understand why so many chiefs are allowed to talk so many different ways and promise so many different things....I have heard talk and talk, but 5nothing is done
