      Since this is an online class, I see social annotations taking the place of classroom discussions.

      I dug in and started reading, making annotations as I go.

      I would share publicly the things I feel are necessary like questions that come up for me or answers to questions that ii may have the answer to.

      I have encountered annotations from others via comments left on google documents and written into the margins of text for my own personal documents. I have also purchased books that have had old annotations left behind from previous owners. I'm not sure I've ever shared my annotations with others before.

    6. What is your typical reading workflow? How do you anticipate it changingwhen you socially annotate?

      I prefer physical copies and hand written annotations as the handwritten annotations is where I feel it helps my memory best. I see it changing more since social annotation will be used for class.

      This is more my style.

      I regularly use annotation because I feel it helps me retain information more effectively. I believe it helps me to better apply what I have learned.
