I find it strange how Dr. Seuss is able to describe such a common mindset as ignorance in such a feeble and child-like way. I love how the author is able to illustrate a new conclusion made by the character making an open minded decision. It's such a staple in modern literature that by putting it in words a child could understand is generous indeed.
