I came into this article with a leaning toward Rogers, but this has been a most informative set of questions. I think I might be changing my vote. Not to Thompson, though, because all of his answers seem to be more of the same.

While there are millions of possibilities for creative use of words in artistic ways, I wonder if something could be considered electronic lit if there were no actual words to read?

Interesting that there are entirely new biases exclusive to digital lit that must be accounted for.

I think we may have to coin a new term to disambiguate literature such as books and stories in digital form from lit that depends on digital creation and propagation, i.e., cannot be created or propagated wihtout electronic devices.

I have no new definitions to add, but am fascinated by this new genre of literature.
