    1. Within a sentence, secondary stress positions can be formed by the appearance of a properly used colon or semicolon;

      This is a point I hadn't given much thought to, and truth be told I am bad at using semicolons. I would like to work on using them appropriately.

    2. Information is interpreted more easily and more uniformly if it is placed where most readers expect to find it.

      I'd be curious to see how this idea could be applied to my writings. Like if a group of people were to read and rewrite a paper of mine to the order they think makes the most sense.

    3. Since we read from left to right, we prefer the context on the left, where it can more effectively familiarize the reader.

      Of course I know that we read left to right but I'm not sure why. I'd be curious to know if it is actually a preference of our brains or if it was just a random choice and the way we've done it so now its normal
