There is no single path through a socially annotated text, or any text forthat matter.
This is what I like about social annotations because it seems like there are many ways you can go about them when it comes to reading to help you get the most info possible out of the reading.
Social annotations might help you un-derstand how others interpret the evidence so that you can tailor your ownargument to the values of your readers.
I really like the idea of getting other people's perspectives on the same thing you're reading, especially because I've never heard of social annotation up until this point.
