Newsom signed the Fair Pay to Play Act, which allows college athletes to not only profit from their name, image and likeness but also hire an agent, the NCAA announced Monday that it will also open the doors for athletes to "benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness in a manner consistent with the collegiate model" (as the NCAA put it in its statement)
