      I agree with this statement the American Dream is achievable for those luckily few. The American Dream can be real, but not for most people. I do believe the number for people who are unable to achieve the American Dream continues to grow, despite all the hard work aimed at that peaceful life we all desire.

      After being renominated for president Franklin D. Roosevelt explained how he believes the American Dream can not exist if there is no opportunity to make a living. The American Dream would not be if we had no opportunities to work hard and create the life we want.

For example, Barack Obama becoming the first African-American president might have encouraged other minorities to believe the American Dream to be a realistic goal.

      Since the very begging of our country’s creation it was always believed by the founding fathers that all citizens are owed their right which include life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our country was founded on that principle.
