    1. Coping, workarounds, and solutions

This just reminds me of how when corona first hit and all classes transferred online one of my professors was going to let us watch some movies, bring a clown in for 1 of the days in the class so much more, but all of those ideas got scrapped.

    2. Zoom has created a virtual building; it, too, shapes the way we interact with each other, constraining and nudging us in certain directions.

This is very true because when I'm in class in person I tend to not ask as many questions while I'm there, but online if I have a question I just ask because there is no one there looking at me.

    3. breaking out into these groups involves physically getting up and moving around

I remember in elementary school when we would do this in groups of three and now that I'm in college and we are doing things online the fact that you cannot hear the other groups while doing your own thing is really crazy to me on how big of a difference it makes.

    1. Israel repurposed its advanced digital monitoring tools normally used for counterterrorism to track the movement of phones of all coronavirus carriers in the 14 days prior to testing positive in order to trace close contacts.

Its crazy in the ways that people can reuse things for tracking down all of the infected in this way. This literally is just a way of them to follow where the virus is going and ways for them to quarantine and protect others.

    1. Slow computing is a way to characterize a type of response to digital life

I agree when I was younger we had a very slow computer in the basement that took forever to boot up and when I went back down to use that computer a few years later I realized how slow it was even though it was considered a faster computer in the past.

    2. The train you took this morning had free Wi-Fi. It wasn’t lightning fast but you were able to update

Speaking of free Wi-Fi while I was in high school I never really appreciated how useful the Wi-Fi was and now that I have unlimited data I never really look at the free Wi-Fi from places because I don't need it.

    3. Many digital technologies are designed to be seductive and addictive

This is true for me because I will sometimes try to get away from a game that I'm playing, but will keep playing it and occasionally forget to get lunch or lose track of the time.
