embracing this evil thing of their own making.”
I don't understand the punishment of people. Man kind never hurt Zeus so why do they have to be punished for Prometheus's behaviour?

evil
It's fascinating how when they created women they created her for evil. If evil was the intention, would would women have the gift of life.
And him in his turn wily Prometheus addressed, laughing low, but he was not forgetful of subtle craft
I found this interesting because it seems as though Prometheus his mocking Zeus. You would have assumed that he would be more sly about his trickery.
studying to deceive the wisdom of Zeus
I found this statement very interesting because when we think of Zeus people often associate him as a person who has little to no weakness. Society views him as as someone who cannot be defied. This example of greek mythology shows how he is not as powerful as he may usually be portrayed.
Separation of the elements
I like the imagery that these stories contain. I find it fascinating to connect back to thing like land and use words like elements to discribe a variety of things.
as king of gods and men
I always wondered as to why humans were always referred to as men. it always confused me, why didn't they just say humans?
“Children of me and of a father madly violent, if you 165 would obey me, we shall avenge the baneful injury of your father; for he was the first that devised acts of indignity.”
I personally enjoy this part of the creation story immensely. I think that this is a great representation of a woman taking her power back to help her and others. Now, when we talk about feminism I think this particular story can be a great description of self empowerment. A man told her what to do with her body and took away the thing she loved, instead of succumbing to his needs she took her power back.
