    1. cheapening nature cannot work much longer to sustain extraction and production in and of thecontemporary world because most of the reserves of the earth have been drained, burned, depleted, poisoned, exterminated, and otherwise exhausted.

I thought this was an interesting quote because cheapening nature is something that you can see is definitely not something that is sustainable. We can all see the effects in the enviornment showing what it is starting to do to it and what it will continue to do years later. As an example river and lake ice is breaking up way earlier than it should, as well as glaciers shrinking in size, depletion of the ozone layer etc. This just shows better investments need to be made in order for us to preserve and keep the earth sustainable.

    2. Recursion can be a drag

This goes back to what I was saying in my previous quote I annotated. The repetition of our failed systemically patterns with the same outcome all the time shows that we make these issues okay. That is why it is hard to really know when enough will be enough.

    3. But, is there an inflection point of consequence that changes the name of the “game” oflife on earth for everybody and everything?

To me this question was something that could not be easily answered. I say that because I would say yes and no to this question. I feel us as humans create the not so good changes to the earth and we also adapt to a lot of things that may not always benefit us. Even though there may be an inflection point of consequence that slows us down persuading us to create a change, I think that more than likely it is something that will be subsided or something that will soon be deemed as "normal".
