      I think this statement is often forgotten in the teaching word. I think we too often forget about how we could negatively impact students in our attempts to better them. Good teachers need to understand their power to do both.

      I have had some very interesting experiences in college with the discussion technique. I think it assumed that because we are older, we are more willing to speak on the subject. I feel like that is so far from the truth.

      This is a tough concept. I think I struggle with this idea. I feel that people can read what I mean when I do or act in a certain way, however that is often not what is perceived.
