      As repeated and insuated throughout the article, there is empirical research but the terminology if social phenomena is not clear or concrete.

    2. A major political project for those of us who identify with at least one of these movements

      The fact that people within the oppressed groups have to do extra work on top of oppression is described as a major political project but its also a burden of being within the movement and a part of the oppression in itself.

    3. Social groups of this sort are not simply collections of people, for they are more fundamentally intertwined with the identities of the people described as belonging to them.

      This operational definition of social groups better clarifies groups in a sociological context that looks at the individuals as complex entities rather than solely their identifiers
