      This is actually crazy. It is sad that it hurt so many people. it also used very descriptive words to help you picture the scene.

      Why do they only want to arrest him? There were other people a part of this as well.

      This part of the passage is stating that she is young and not ready to be a true woman yet, but she has to be because her mother has passed away. She must fill in her mothers shoes and become a true woman.

      I enjoy how in every chapter it tells you what month they are in. It helps show how time is elapsing and it gives the reader a better understanding of the events happening.

      This reminds me of home because we have a horse farm and we always knew it was going to be cold when the troughs had ice on them. Eventually they get so frozen you have to break all of the ice.

      This sentence has so many descriptive words. I can picture what is happening as if I was there watching. It creates such imagery.

      This is saying that even though he has sinned plenty, God still accepted him with open arms. God is always forgiving.

      Brings sorrow into the reading. Saying how many people were not able to escape, especially children that are innocent and probably do not understand what is happening.

      Sad that they have to leave their homes and hide because they are scared of being killed. Makes you think what if this happened to me? Brings out emotion
