Optimism and hope for a profoundly better world - one in which we sustainably flourish - doesn't have a particularly big roster or a good PR team these days. It feels like optimism is considered naive, foolish, childlike at best, and that cynicism/pessimism is the intellectual flavour du jour, regardless of where one falls on the political spectrum. I'd like to take this time to gently open hand slap that idea in the face.
