      These lines remind me of how those who are provoked can sometimes be looked at as the bad guy when they react. It also makes me think about how people in power act when they know someone is upset with them. Very dismissive but at this point Charlotte is sticking up for herself which is something we didn’t read earlier on.

      Here Charlotte has died but she finally has peace and it’s described as joy. She got to see her father again, and this reminds me of how people crave what’s most important to them.

      Here, Charlotte has started to dissociate in some form and is not recognizing her own child. I think this section represents the lack of mental health care that was available in the time period
