The outcome that I want to achieve is to have my boss understand that I won't be able to make it to work and that I have done everything that I could do prior to getting sick. The relationship I want with my boss is a professional relationship were both parties are respected. Three adjectives that I would want my boss to describe me as are proactive, efficient, and communicative.
