    1. You should decide the physical attributes of your profile person. At the least you should consider:

I think this would be great to add if your profile was about the person, my profile is about a career/job so there is no need for this in specific.

    2. They immerse your reader in the subject and add texture and depth to your writing.

I think it is better to have 3-4 great questions with a paragraph of details afterwords rather than having 7+ with a sentence or two after. Kinda like videos or influencers post I would rather see a few good quality posts/videos rather than many poor ones.

    3. A good profile shows the reader something new or unexpected about the subject.

One reason I like looking at profiles or articles about famous people is that there are always the most random facts, for example the NFL team the Eagles has this big security guard and it showed that the Eagles are 11-2 with him on the sideline.

    1. Chronological order is presenting details as they happened in time, from start to finish.

Just like in YouTube videos they all start in the beginning of the game or subject and from that it progresses through the game or subject throughout the video

    2. The best way to conduct research about your subject is to observe it firsthand.

I like this because the subject might sound awesome but if you don't observe you will have no idea if u actually are interested or not

    3. A good profile shows the reader something new or unexpected about the subject.

One thing I like about reading about famous people in magazines or newspapers is that there is always a crazy fact in there that you would not find anywhere else its just a cool random fact

    1. As always, it is important to start with a strong introduction to hook your reader into wanting to read more.

This is the same with social media, on youtube or even a post you get people to click on it by the name of the video, the video thumbnail, and for social media it could be the first post that make people want to go to your page or read the post.

    2. Once you have a general idea of what you will be writing about, you should sketch out the major events of the story that will compose your plot.

What I do is I get all of my ideas that I could possibly write and i see which ones I have the most recollection of and most of the time choose that one and just start writing about it.

    3. The more clearly you tell your story, the more emotionally engaged your audience is likely to be.

I have a big problem with being clear and precise in my essays, most of the time it is just one huge cluttered paper with a lot of random facts that don’t really flow.

    1. As grad students, postdocs, or early career academics, we may think that the papers we reference, the textbooks we read, or the articles we enjoy skimming are written by writers who are leaps and bounds above us in terms of skill.

This is what I think about successful media influencers, you-tubers, streamers, etc. I thought there was never a real chance for the little guy when you have all these other people who get millions of views and likes but you have to think that they all started getting one like or one viewer, so there is always a chance for the new guy to be as big as these other people like pewdipie, jynxzi, the Kardashians, etc.

    2. Perhaps you do this already. Perhaps, earlier in your life, you realized that dumping everything out onto that Word Document without a care, and then editing, was the way to go. That’s pretty much what this concept is about!

I wish I had known about this concept because for me it seems like every rough draft I have turnt in in the past has been pretty much final paper; I have never just let it all out I have only let out what makes sense to start with and that is not what I will be doing now.

    3. When she first uttered it, I couldn’t believe my ears. It sounded like a joke. How could a “shitty first draft” help you write faster and more efficiently?

This is exactly what I thought when reading the first article until I finished it and really gave it a thought and was like dam wow this really works.
