    1. .  I mean, maybe I want to be able to go the market completely naked with a cowboy hat on!  And, maybe I want to be able to go around spitting on people and urinating on dogs.  That’s my right! Right?  You don’t have power over me (President, Army, Governor, County, City, Police . . .).  I was born free!

NECCESRY EVIL!!!!!!!! We must have laws set in place in order to keep peace, justice, and humanity in our societies. We have rights but we also live in a society with traditions and class to where you should want to hold yourself to a high account.

    2. There seem to be a lot of finger pointing–“YOU!”, “We!”, “They!”, UGH!  Anger.  Blame.  Frustration.  Depression.  Apathy.  Confusion.  Pick one.  The truth of it is that it all depends on you.

Everyone likes to blame each other and not take responsibility. They want to blame their family, president, or even people they don't even know. Everything is dependent on what you do in order to make a citation better and change it. We all have our own views but when it comes down to it you have the ability to make a change.

    1. the principles of separation of powers and checks and balances, or the difference between a treaty and an executive agreement, etc.  Your ability to utilize what you have learned will save you from getting lost in the mud of mere opinion.

Everyone today likes to boast their own opinions biased or not all over social media and claim anything else is wrong or untruthful. Instead of getting angry over what a person says, posts, or does just look at how our government is constructed and what rules are in place. I prefer to think of it as a lawyer. Under the law what can or can't a person do or get away with. If you know these basic principles or laws or rights then you can either find them to be in their natural rights or going against the law. It is good to look at reliable sources but to question these source's with your knowledge of government.

    2. After we have become more knowledgeable of the foundation (seeing beyond and below the “dirt”) we will be able to discuss, describe, and interpret, what we are observing.

How can you truly understand your future and what is going on in your country without looking at history and the past for mistakes. History is known to repeat itself and if we repeat our history we will repeat our mistakes which is why it is easier to learn from others mistakes than to make them ourselves. Striving to become more knowledgeable is something everyone should seek. This is like today when ill logical people try to promote socialism and communism in our society and say how would we know it wont work if we don't try it. Even if its not our own history we can look at Russia and North Korea and see how happy their citizens are and were.

    3. Far too many people view politics in much the same way as they do when watching a show like Game of Thrones, House of Cards, or The Bachelor.  In other words, they focus on the drama, the conflict, the personalities, etc., and very often choose sides as if being a cheerleader/spectator is enough.

Politics should not be seen as these fake shows or reality tv shows. Politics should be taken seriously and not only to be seen when there is drama. Politics should be seen when there is good being done and when we have achieved something beneficial for all people. People only tune in at the drama of the shows which is to just get views and for money. People need to try to look beyond what they are being directly forced upon them. People should have their personal beliefs and be able to choose sides but should not be closed minded to where they can not even really watch both sides of an discussion. People need to be open minded.

    1. The expectation that animated the Framers–ambitious men themselves–was that this would create a kind of competition, conflict, between members, the different branches, etc.

Our nation was built on people who immigrated to america as they did not like the government they had before they could not do much when having opposing view points. They did not like having one man or women in charge of the nation. They wanted opposing view points that can be challenged but would also have a balance but always have a fair chance for change.

    2. designed to be independent of the other branches, to be non-political, in the hopes that its decisions and actions would be respected because its is independent.

It is independent of the other branches. Meant to be unbiased and to have its own ideals. It is not a part of the back 2 tires like the other 2 branches. Meant to help bring the 3 branches together and prevent from imbalance in power. If you have back two tires inflated with one party and the front tire with no air as they are the minority that bike would still not work and the same inversely related

    3. Senators are elected in state-wide elections (in the case of California, by tens of millions of people!).

Hard to get senators that represent the entire population and regions of a state as they are voted in by state wide population. We have seen in this past election that you can have the majority of counties voting one way but having a significantly less amount of counties with a high population can cause a state to side with the majority of people but minority in countries this is why i believe votes should not be from each person but through counties. People are biased close minded and not bright.

    4. when functioning well and together make it possible for the government to do what governments do:

The government can only function well by working together to come to a unanimous decision. When the 3 branches of government all have opposing views and are very divided it is very hard to get laws passed and to promote new legislature for our society. When the 3 branches have aligning views just like a bike having the same parts from the same brand of bike the bike is more likely to function properly and efficiently rather than a bunch of parts mixed together to build a bike.
