      This is an overly broad assessment of why Trump won. Here is a better, more complex and nuanced assessment.

      We need to move beyond the mechanics of economics (based on "positive" economic questions, questions which don't dig into the moral aspects of our decisions). Perhaps the most important question we can ask is, "Because we can, should we?"

      The remainder of the article is solid on the issue of economic growth. Growth is dependent on technology, and increases in the quantity and/or quality of the factors of production.
