      The fat man has an extreme confidence on himself and showed off himself to the little girl who danced for the first time, which makes me indispose towards him.

      Isabel is not considering about the feeling of William at all. William comes to visit her and children, but Isabel sent children out. She always stayed with her friends and ignoring William, which reflects the relationship of them in this marriage. William seems more regard family and lover more important while Isabel likes enjoying with her friends. They have different demand in this marriage, and this may lead to a argument between them.

      William's questioning has provoked extreme reactions of Isabel. She has used so many degree adverbs like 'dreadfully', 'frightfully' and 'awfully' to insist on her didn't change as William thought.

      The reaction that the two daughters facing with the death of their father is unusual. They feel frightened and at a loss instead of sorrowful which let readers curious about the relationship between the daughter and fathers.
