    1. This reminds me WAYYYY too much of the separate but equal thing that we learned about with the train cars before which made segregation legal in some states. That was obviously found unconstitutional at some point after that so how is this okay.

    2. Right off the bat I'm wondering why they would get rid of the forced bussing if the segregation was worse in schools. I thought the forced bussing was meant to get rid of segregated schooling.

    1. I think this subject is very sad. If I'm doing the best I cant to impress, help, whatever, for someone and they just did not appreciate it, I would be done with them. I don't know why African Americans stayed in the army. But I guess it's a good thing that they did because that's how it became desegregated.

    2. That is so messed up, and I cant believe that anyone could say or think such thing about a human being. What "place in society?" The place where they do everything they possibly can for the country and are still mistreated? I guess so.

    3. I can't imagine how hurtful this along with many other things was to African Americans. They were a huge contribution to saving our world but still got no appreciation or anything in return. They may not have thought about it in that way at the time, but if that were the case for me I would not want to do it anymore. I would not want to risk my life for an ungrateful country.

    4. I agree with this completely. In the last edpuzzle you talked about how America fought so hard for democracy in China but then in America some places were still segregated and African Americans didn't have a say in their country. For example, all of the students that got arrested for sit-ins after the workers refused to serve them.
