    1. Think of this plan (the word for map in French) as the map to your essay that will guide you along your journey to completion

I like this because it reminds me so much of the mind map we would do in class honestly I like how this relates to a lot of the stuff we have done in class because all the stuff professor dan has told us about how to write a paragraph has helped me out a lot and I think helped me become a better writer

    2. For this step, use the information from step one, set a timer for 30 minutes, remove all distractions (the phone with the alarm on it?!) and write continuously

this helped out so much with the timed write I had to do because I feel like I was more or less in the zone and was surprised by everything I wrote because normally I have trouble thinking during a timed write. But I feel like with all the distractions removed it helped so much

    3. “Shitty First Draft.”

this has me laughing but also kind of impressed by this because I remember professor dan mentioning this but I didn't really think it was true until now that I saw it and I actually like how they called it because I feel like thats how everyone feels about there first draf myself included

    4. One way to break into your thoughts and/or opinion about a writing assignment is to turn the assignment task into a question.

this article has such great tips because I had never really thought about to break or develop my idea by using this I am actually surprised about how much this has taught me about how to think and break down my idea much better and successful with out stressing myself out

    5. The first step, the biggest one is just getting started by collecting your ideas.

I do this a lot ever since I got into this class because of the amount of time we have to actually think about what we want to write thanks to the due dates and it actually helps a lot it helps me think better and not get stressed out and I feel like my work is done way better when I actually think about what I want to write about

    6. I think the hard work of writing is just how long a book is terrible before it’s good

I can feel this on another level because this reminds me of the whole not judging a a book by a cover mainly because by personal experience because I do this a lot when I read the first pages and I don't like it I immediately think its bad you know then a lot of people tells me its good and that I judged too quick

    7. Take breaks to avoid being overwhelmed and losing focus.

I feel like I need to do this more because me personally I save some big writing projects for last minute because that is when I think best but I feel like I get too overwhelmed and stuff also and I don't like it because then I get stressed out about it at times

    8. “Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.

I like this quote it really grabbed my attention basically saying like start writing whenever you have your ideas and just let them flow from your brain to your hand I like that I had never really thought of writing like that

    9. Keep in mind, whatever discipline your major is in or the profession you choose, you will need to write, wel

I feel like this is something people need to keep in mind a lot because I feel like people think depending on there career they won't have to write or do other things they don't like doing

    10. expressive writing is a process that takes time since thinking and expressing your thoughts, and considering and developing your ideas takes time.

I can agree to this mainly because of what I have learned throughout professor dans class is to well prepare and develop my idea before writing thanks to Eli review which is something I have grown to do now more often now but still too used to the free writing still

    11. Writing, the kind we want to read and share and read again,

I can relate to this a lot because me personally when I read I like it to be something engaging that grabs my attention not something well is quite boring or short to be honest

    1. Consider and reflect on your writing process by reading about the steps writers take as they write for academic and professional purposes

I like this because normally I don't think when I write about a strategy I just right just like that most the time so I like this maybe It can be something I can use in the future

    1. SF State encourages its students, faculty, and staff to engage fully with the community and develop and share knowledge

I think this is cool how they want you and in a way motivate you to interact with the community and be part of it in a way so you well you know can get used to well who knows maybe a whole new family

    2. Building on a century-long history of commitment to quality teaching

I feel like his is important because I feel like as always with a good teacher and someone who has a good connection with his/her students can make the learning environment a whole a lot I speak personally because I had that experience with some of my teachers and I ended up passing there classes just fine

    3. From the heart of a diverse community, San Francisco State University honors roots, stimulates intellectual and personal development, promotes equity, and inspires the courage to lead, create, and innovate.

I think this is real important and something I am glad that SF State has is that they care more about the person as a whole and trying to help them succeed rather then just throwing them there and expect them to succeed on there own

    4. In addition, it guides and focuses your program’s decision processes concerning important assessment questions and directions needing investigation, based on your program’s larger direction, values, and goals

I like this one because it emphasizes on the previous one in more deeper depth and I like this because a lot of schools say this but don't really act upon it and my first year I can gladly say that this was true for this school

    5. First, it synthesizes the many unique talents and goals of your faculty and aligns them into a single, common purpose.

I like this because it illustrates how everything always comes down to one common goal yours you know

    6. What do we do, why do we do it, how do we do it, who are we doing it for?

I find this interesting because it is a great hook to be honest it caught my attention real quick to be honest

    1. Finally, counternarratives are a resource rather than an obstacle that must beovercome through management

I like this one saying counter narratives are more of a resource I feel like this is rigth mainly because someone who masters well the art of counternarrative can be quite successful in using it and being sailent in tense situations as oppose to someone who doesn't so I found this one very intruigng but interesting at the same time I liked this one a lot

    2. An attention to counternarratives can help organizations make tensions among dif-fering perspectives salient, by bringing the unheard and unsaid to light and makingalternativeviewpointsvisibleforanalysisanddiscussion

I find this very interesting on how I guess it is saying in a way that we should use counter narratives on the daily life I guess so that arguments or anything like that aren't brought up

    3. Counternarratives play a role in the construction of identity, with identity under-stood as relational, taking form through interaction in social contexts.

I find interesting how counter narrative is kinda of a way of who we are and that its a part of us

    4. In this sense, counternarratives play a role in storytellers positioningthemselves against, or critiquing, the themes and ideologies of master narratives.Used in this way, “counternarratives” refer to “the stories which people tell and livewhich offer resistance, either implicitly or explicitly, to dominant cultural narratives”

now I find this interesting because I feel like this makes a lot more sense to me personally of how counternarrative should be explained because me personally like I got in trouble a lot and would try to pin stuff on me and I would always counter it so I can say from experience this is more or less what a counter narrative really is instead of what I was kinda taught at school

    5. In general, the positionality of counternarratives has been seen as a means of opposingor resisting socially and culturally informed master narratives (about, for example, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and profession), which are often normative or oppressive,

this is so true to me because I was taught in school that the counter narrative is always going against what the other person is saying no matter much of the situation

    6. including how members position themselves narratively, how tension can be madesalient, and how resistance to change may become a resource rather than an obstacle.

this surprised on how they think about using more for like for oneself and how it can be used for various of different ways

    1. University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center, found that about 15% believed the pharmaceutical industry created the coronavirus and more than 28% thought it was a bioweapon made by the Chinese government

    2. There’s often a lot of uncertainty in crisis situations,

because with uncertainty people get scared and don't know if what the government Is saying is true especially when something like this took everyone by surprise

    3. Six “degrees of manipulation”—impersonation, conspiracy, emotion, polarization, discrediting, and trolling

this is so interesting because I always thought conspiracy was its own little thing like section I didn't all these others were connected like this

    4. If we later hear a correction, it doesn’t invalidate our thoughts—and it’s our own thoughts that can maintain a bias, even when we accept that the original information was false.”

I know about this because my self I have experienced it in the past in a way where I hear the correction of something I've said but for some reason I have a hard time accepting

    5. The fundamental problem with misinformation is that once people have heard it, they tend to believe and act on it, even after it’s been corrected,

this is so true because when my teachers were saying that it was cause of that they all said that it was just because of the stuff that was going on while Donald Trump was still in presidency

    6. In March 2020, nearly 30% of U.S. adults believed the Chinese government created the coronavirus as a bioweapon

I can relate to that so much because my parents were thinking the same thing and thought that the coronavirus was fake

    2. hat meal is why we still eat a meal together in November. Celebrate it as a nation. But that one wasn't a thanksgiving meal. It was a land deal meal. Two years later there was another, similar meal, meant to symbolize eternal friendship.
