    1. I agree with Nisbett that we can train our minds to be less biased in our judgment as I agree with Kahneman point that there will always be some form of bias but to believe that our tendency are hard-wired never to change no matter how hard we try is where I disagree with Kahneman.

    1. Voting is the most important channel for citizen participation in political decisionmaking.

      I firmly believe that civic participation means coming together as a community to help or address issues in our community. Actions such as voting are viable to change and have some say in political decision-making; we need to vote. By addressing misinformation and global warming issues and improving the COVID-19 responses for waves, we can ensure that our democracy continues while being stable.

      The existence of anti-science bias in the United States, while it seems to be a new occurrence, has been prevalent for the past few decades, yet often they were the minority; however, with the COVID-19 and social media, the voices of the minority has been amplified to a new level. With a platform and an administrative figure such as our president and congress representatives that firmly support anti-science, the minority has evolved to become the majority, with new cases occurring every day with more senseless deaths.

      From the looming fear of COVID-19 and the restrictions implemented by the government, businesses were forced to either limit or temporarily closed their establishments which largely impacted the economy. I remember that the stock market experience a devastating crash where people would either sell before it reached its lowest part or bought stocks at their lowest.
