The Hypothes.is extension can be used on any webpage. Likely, on some of the more popular webpages, the community using Hypothes.is has already made comments about that page. We can even use the extension to do a scavenger hunt of sorts (see below).

Additionally, technically the extension can "replace" the LMS integration. However, the LMS integration allows us to automatically grade a posts and replies, use D2L groups to break students into smaller reading groups, etc.
