Before writing Havre, Mishka Lavigne penned the plays Cinéma and Vigile. She has also written a play in English, which is entitled Albumen. Havre was created by Saskatchewan-based Troupe du Jour and performed at POCHE/GVE, in Geneva. Lavigne has translated more than a dozen plays and poems, both in French and in English. She lives in Gatineau, Quebec.

Avant Havre, Mishka Lavigne a écrit les pièces Cinéma et Vigile. Elle est aussi l’auteure d’un texte en anglais, Albumen. Havre a été créée par la Troupe du Jour de Saskatoon et jouée au POCHE/GVE à Genève. Mishka Lavigne compte plus d’une douzaine de traductions de théâtre et de poésie, tant en français qu’en anglais. Elle vit à Gatineau.

In 2014, Thomas was the recipient of the Writers’ Trust Engel/Findley Prize for a writer in mid-career. She lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
